THEY DO LIKE FOOD, UH, PLATES FOR DRIVES FOR THE CHEERLEADERS FOR THE RURAL SCOUTS DOWN AT THE GAZEBO.
UH, WE HAVE, UM, MISS MARTY THAT PASSES OUT HOT DOGS AND, AND DRINKS DOWN AT THE DOLLAR STORE FOR FREE TO THE KIDS ON THEIR WAY HOME FROM SCHOOL ONCE A WEEK USUALLY.
SO WE NEEDED TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING IN THE VERBIAGE THAT PERMITS THEM TO DO THAT AS LONG AS THEY, WE ARE AWARE OF IT AND THEY, YOU KNOW, LET US KNOW THEY'RE GONNA BE DOWN AT THE GAZEBO, ET CETERA.
SO JUST WANTED TO GET YOUR FEEDBACK ON THAT NICOLE.
YEAH, WE CAN ADD AN EXCEPTION TO THIS PARTICULAR ORDINANCE.
WE WOULD JUST ADD A NEW SUBSECTION THAT BASICALLY PROVIDES AN EXCEPTION FOR CHARITABLE EVENTS AND WE, WE'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO INCLUDE A DEFINITION FOR THAT.
UM, JUST SO THAT IT'S CLEAR, BUT YES, WE CAN DEFINITELY DO THAT.
CAN WE APPROVE IT WITH THAT OR DO WE NEED TO HAVE THE VERBIAGE AND TABLE IT? YOU COULD DO EITHER WAY, HONESTLY.
YOU COULD GO AHEAD AND YOU COULD ADOPT THE ORDINANCE WITH THE AMENDMENT, UH, ADDING AN EXCEPTION, UH, FOR CHARITABLE EVENTS, UM, AND THEN DIRECTING CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT SAME.
I COULD BRING YOU BACK THAT DRAFT AND THEN YOU COULD JUST ADOPT THAT FINAL VERSION.
I'D PROBABLY RECOMMEND THAT WE TABLE AND LET ME GET THAT VERBIAGE IN THERE SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY APPROVING WOULD BE MY RECOMMENDATION TABLE.

COMPLETE.UH, DENTON STREET'S ACTUALLY 90% COMPLETE.
UM, AND WE DID FINALLY FINISH WITH THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT.
IT IS UP AND RUNNING WITH SOME LEARNING.
SO THREE VERY LARGE PROJECTS THAT ARE ONE COMPLETED, TWO ALMOST COMPLETED.
UM, I MEAN WE SHOULD BE DONE WITH ALL OF THEM IN THE NEXT WHAT WEEK? TWO WEEKS MAYBE.
UM, THE ONLY OTHER THING IS THE REPAVING OF THE DOWNTOWN AREA BY THE GAZEBO THAT WILL START ON THE 20TH.
